Bring your Squishmallows to the Arkell Museum on May 22 at 2 pm for a portrait painting session. We have the paints and the paper, all you need is a Squishmallows and your creativity. If you don’t have a Squishmallows or are afraid of getting paint on them, don’t worry! We will have some examples ready for you to be inspired by.
This is a free program for kids and teens.

Genealogy Meet Up
Join us on May 14 at 2 pm in the classroom of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library for genealogy meet up. This is an informal gathering for those working on genealogy and family history research where people can share ideas, resources and get questions answered. It is also a space for those just starting out that need advice and assistance. All are welcome. Bring a laptop or tablet if you have one. If not, there are a few laptops that can be borrowed.
Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show Award Ceremony
Join us May 10th from 2-4 pm in the Great Hall for an award ceremony and meet the artist reception celebrating the Art of New York Juried Art Show. Awards will be handed out at 2:30 pm.
Meet artists from across New York State, check out the Juried Art Show, and enjoy light refreshments.
This reception is free, and all ages are welcome.
