Guest Star Gallery Tour with Barbara Luhmann

Join us for a special program February 22, at 2 pm at the Arkell Museum. Get a taste of art while the galleries are closed. We have invited artist print maker Barbara Luhmann to give us a tour of The Art of Seeing: Prints By Beth Van Hoesen. Then join us in the classroom for a hands on printing demo.

This program is free for adults and teens.

Blow Paint Monsters

Join us in the classroom of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library on February 21st at 2 pm for blow paint monsters. We are getting out the paint and straws and blowing around the paint to create cool shapes. Then we will stick googly eyes on them to create cute monsters.

This is a free program for kids and teens.
We have all the supplies. All you need is your creativity!

10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease

Join us at 2 pm on Thursday February 27th in the classroom as we partner with the Alzheimer’s Association of New York to present 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease. During this 45 minute presentation you will learn the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s disease, hear from people who have the disease, and find out how to recognize the signs in yourself or others.  

This program will be presented in the classroom of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library by Megan DeMento of the Alzheimer’s Association. This is a free event for all ages.
