Museum Day

Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

The 2018 theme for Museum Day is WOMEN MAKING HISTORY: Trailblazers in the arts, sciences, innovation & culture. In honor of this, Arkell Museum staff and volunteers will be on hand on the 22nd to celebrate the women artists in our collection with guided tours and hands-on art activities.

To get your ticket, for more information on Museum Day, and to see other participating museums, visit the Smithsonian's website!
