Reasons for the Seasons StarLab with MiSci

Observe and record changes in the sun’s apparent path through the sky through the year and understand why the tilt of the earth’s axis causes the seasons.

Space is limited. RSVP one week in advance is required.

Bring your favorite book and take some time to read aloud to an adult! Feel free to bring along your own adult, and we'll provide a few, including members of our Museum & Library staff and other local professionals!

Northern Forest Exploration with the Utica Zoo

The great Northern Forest is the largest intact forest ecosystem east of the Mississippi and it is right in our backyard! Join the Utica Zoo Zoomobile and learn about the plants and animals that live in and around the forest and our impact on their environment.
