Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Party

Join the Canajoharie Library & Arkell Museum as we kick off Summer Reading with a fun-filled family event! Sign-up for the summer, receive your reading log, eat a sweet treat, and join a dance party!

Non-Fiction Book Club - "The Endurance"

Join the Canajoharie Library and the Non-Fiction Book Club discussion of 'The Endurance: Shackleton's Legendary Antartic Expedition" by Caroline Alexander. The Imperial Trans-Antartic Expedition, also known as the Endurance Expedition, is considered the last major expedition of the Heroic Age of Antartic Exploration.

Book Discussion - "The Day the World Came to Town"

Join the Canajoharie Library and the Palatine Literary Society for a discussion of "The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland" by Jim DeFede. A feel-good book about a very tragic event in American history. The true story behind the events on 9/11 that inspired Broadway's smash hit musical "Come From Away." All are welcome!
