10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease

Join us at 2 pm on Thursday February 27th in the classroom as we partner with the Alzheimer’s Association of New York to present 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease. During this 45 minute presentation you will learn the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s disease, hear from people who have the disease, and find out how to recognize the signs in yourself or others.  

This program will be presented in the classroom of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library by Megan DeMento of the Alzheimer’s Association. This is a free event for all ages.

Antique Show & Sale

Antique Show and Sale is March 8, 2025, at the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library. We are excited to welcome back the Palatine Settlement Society for their Annual Antique Show and Sale benefiting the 1747 Historic Nellis Tavern!

10 am to 4 pm, Doors open at 10 am.
Admission to the Antique Fair is $6.00 per person.
Admission to the Arkell Museum galleries is a special reduced price of $5.00 per person.
~ 20 antique vendors featuring early antiques, primitives, textiles & jewelry.
Appraisal booth - $5.00 per object
Refreshments will be available.

Memory and Celebration: Examining the 1929 Sesquicentennial Celebration of the Sullivan Clinton Campaign

Join us January 29th at 7:00 pm as we partner with Fulton County Historical Society to discuss the Sullivan Clinton Campaign of the Revolutionary War and its celebration in Canajoharie in 1929. The talk asks the question what is historical memory and when can we challenge the narrative of the past to present more accurate history today.
