The Eight and American Impressionism at the Arkell Museum

Join us via Zoom at 11 am on February 12th as Mary Alexander, Curator of Education at the Arkell Museum, will use the Arkell Museum's fine art collection to discuss the role of The Eight- a group of young influential American artists that broke away from the academy and exhibited art on their own terms. She will also look at American Impressionism and the role of The Eight in bringing American Impressionism to the public eye.

Duplo Day!

Join us in the classroom of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library on February 20th for an all-day drop in Duplo building program. Bring the littles, we are getting out the Duplo blocks for the young ones to enjoy.
Best for ages 0-6 but older siblings welcome.

This is a free program for kids.

Pom Pom Making

Join us in the classroom of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library on February 19, 2025, at 2pm. We are making pom poms out of yarn and then creating adorable animals and monsters out of them!

This is a free program for kids and teens.
We have all the supplies. All you need is your creativity!
