Painting with Patrice!

Adults! Join us on August 19th for a 2 hour painting class taught by arts educator Patrice Jarvis-Weber.
This program is open to all ability levels, is FREE, and all supplies are included.

Patrice will guide participants in a fun 2 hour painting session. Participants will do basic drawing, practice proportions, as well as highlighting and shadowing techniques. All will use acrylic paints on an 8 x 8 or 8 x 10 inch stretched canvas and take home a finished painting. No framing is necessary.

About: Patrice Jarvis-Weber has worked in and for local art and educational facilities for over 20 years. She has led painting events for several years for adults and children in art centers, libraries, senior centers, museums, schools, and retreats. Among them are World Awareness Children’s Museum, Adirondack Experience, Wiawaka, and Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Bring the kids and the stuffies for our annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover!

Join us from 3:30 to 4:30 as we read some good night stories and tuck our stuffies into bed!
Then, the stuffies stay over night, and the following day you can come and pick up the stuffies and get pictures of all the silly adventures they got up to while we were gone!

This program is for kids ages 3-18! It is a free event as part of our Summer Reading Program.
