Sahaja Meditation

Start 2018 off right with weekly Sahaja Meditation classes. Melanie Pandit, Meditation Instructor, invites beginner and experienced meditators to these free weekly sessions. Instead of training your mind to focus on an object, practicing breathing, or twisting yourself into postures, Sahaja Meditation allows you the chance to do nothing. That’s right. No memorization of mantras, or affirmations. Nothing.

The Spring session will meet Wednesdays at 5:30 from April 4 through May 30.

For more information, contact Instructor Melanie Pandit or call (518) 428-4692.

Create & Take: Get Ready for 2018!

Get ready to welcome 2018 with two different crafts! First, we'll read a story about New Year's Eve, then help us make our own countdown clock before we decorate our own special hats & crowns to wear as we say goodbye to 2017 and welcome 2018.

This is a free program that is open to students of all ages and their families. RSVPs and donations are not necessary but are always appreciated, as they help us get a better understanding of the number of supplies to prepare and help cover the cost of materials.

For more information, contact Curator of Education & Public Engagement Jenna Peterson Riley at jriley@arkellmuseum.org or call (518) 673-2314 x 113.
