The Airlift Mission Book Talk & Signing

David Siegenthaler, author of six books, will discuss his book, "The Airlift Mission: A Human Interest Story Blended with History of the U.S. Air Force Airlift Mission." Siegenthaler will focus on the evolution of the United States Air Force Airlift Mission, whose role it was to transport personnel and cargo into combat zones beginning as early as World War I. He will also discuss his own personal service as a flying crew chief on the Douglas C-47 from 1954-1958. Copies of his book are available for purchase in the Arkell Museum gift shop.

This is a free program, and donations are always appreciated. The Arkell Museum & Canajoharie Library are located at 2 Erie Boulevard, Canajoharie with off-street parking.
