Join Curator of Education and Public Engagement, Mary Alexander, as she discusses women artists in the Arkell Museum collection.
We will discuss artists Lauren Ford, Harriet Frishmuth, Anna Hyatt Huntington, Beth Van Hoesen and Joellyn Duesberry.

This is a 45 minute Zoom talk.

Canajoharie Library and Palatine Literary Society Book Discussion is on March 24, 2021 at 3:30 pm in the Great Hall.
The book is Seabiscuit: An American Legend by Laura Hillenbrand.
Copies of the book are available at the Library Ciculation Desk. Audio books also available.

This is an in person event. Masks must be worn at all times. Social distancing required. In person events are subject to change with short notice.

MiSci: Rosie Revere: Engineer

Learn about how engineering makes inventions come to life with this program from MiSci the event will be presented on Zoom on March 16, 2021.
Learn about how an invention can change the world by learning what you can do with a simple idea, how to make an idea grow, and local inventors.
Learn about the science of engineering through an engaging story and hands-on engineering project.
Students build their own take-home flying machine and get to test and improve its performance.

This program is ideal for Home School and at home learners (and for anyone interested)! Great for most ages. Might be too young for high school, but they may find it interesting and fun.
