The Noses: Art and Environment

This Free Zoom program brings together Mary Alexander, Curator of Education & Public Engagement at the Arkell Museum, and Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy’s Conservation Director Sarah Walsh to talk about the special area of the Mohawk River Valley fondly called "The Noses."

Mary will look at art from the Arkell Museum collection featuring the Noses. Sarah will discuss efforts of the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy to improve aspects of the environment around the noses, assess wildlife crossings in the area, and the importance of protecting these iconic landscapes for future generations.

This fun mix of nature and art is sure to be a lovely break from the winter doldrums. Won't you join us?
