Poetry Reading and Author Talk Featuring Moira Linehan

Join us as we celebrate National Poetry Month!
Listen and enjoy a poetry reading by author Moira Linehan. In her new work of poetry "& Company" Linehan reconstructs the life of her grandmother through works of art that show how women worked in the past.
Her poetry is based on art located in numerous museums across the country. Arkell Museum's painting Girl Crocheting, by Edmund Tarbell, is the subject of one of Linehan's poems. This painting is currently on view at the Arkell Museum.

Linehan will read excerpts from "& Company," discuss her inspiration and process as well as answer questions from the audience.
