Arkell Museum is Celebrating the Art of Illustration in 2020

The Museum season kicks off on February 29! Leap Day! Stop by from 12:00 - 5:00 and check out our two new exhibitions: Garth Williams: Illustrator of the Century and Winslow Homer: Illustrator featuring the Arkell Museum's permanent collection of Winslow Homer watercolors.

Admission to the Arkell Museum is $9.00, $6.50 for students and seniors, and free to children under 11. Active duty military members are also free, and receive 50% off for their entire party. And don't forget that admission is always free for Museum members!

The mission of the Arkell Museum at Canajoharie and the Canajoharie Library is to promote and celebrate the understanding and enjoyment of the arts and humanities in Canajoharie, the Mohawk Valley, and beyond. The Arkell Museum collects, preserves, researches and presents American Art and Mohawk Valley History, and promotes active participation in art and history related activities, to enhance knowledge, appreciation and personal exploration by all.
